The goal of my work is to identify ways in which people can lead meaningful, joyful lives amidst the stress of daily life.
I view my role as a psychological scientist as finding evidence for what we as humans often experience — that the mind and body are connected, and that taking care of our emotional and spiritual lives will lead to better physical health and overall well-being.
I feel most alive when I’m sharing this research with people who are eager to learn the science of the mind-body connection.
